MISN was formed in 2001 by a group of people from around the world who
found themselves living in the Midlands,
We recognize the process of leaving a familiar environment and beginning
somewhere new can be both a great adventure and a significant stressor. We
believe that by meeting people and forming new friendships we can ease the
transition and make the most of our experience in the
MISN provides support and information to newcomers on everything from
where to get a haircut to the best restaurants and playground facilities.
The group meets on an informal
basis every month for coffee, lunch book club and rambles in the country side.
We organize these and a host of other activities every month.
